Ingredients
1.5 lb beef roast (top round roast in this case)
2 c. beef broth
Seasoning rub
2 tbsp corn starch
2 tbsp of water
Instructions
- Rub the roast with the seasoning. I used a pre-made mix called Rub Some Burger
- Set the instant pot to sauté with some oil in it.
- Sear roast on all sides.
- Add the beef broth.
- Put on the lid and set to high pressure for 60 minutes.
- After the 60 minutes let it natural release for another 15 minutes before releasing the pressure.
- Remove the roast and set the Instant Pot to saute.
- In a small bowl mix together the corn starch and water.
- Stir the mixture in with the broth in the Instant Pot until it thickens.
