Sauces and Seasonings: Homemade BBQ Sauce

Ingredients 1 C ketchup 1/3 C apple cider vinegar with the mother ¼ C brown sugar 1 tsp onion powder 1.5 tsp chili powder 2 Tbsp tomato paste 1.5 Tbsp dark molasses 2 tsp ground pepper Instructions Whisk all ingredients together in a saucepan and bring to a boil on medium heat, stirring constantly. Reduce the heat to low, and cover. Simmer 10 minutes until thickened. If you are not using immediately, once it cools down cover and refrigerate for up to 1 week.
